Historical Archives are Live!
The MEGA - Marine Security Guard Archives are live and growing. The archives team will be continually updating pages with new content and pushing over content from our legacy sites.
Many detachment pages are still under construction, and photos are constantly being filtered / edited and pushed into each detachment's individual Photo Album. We've created folders for Incident Reports and World History...events experienced by MSG Detachments. We are now also focusing on MCESG HQ Marines who've historically supported and trained MSGs.
Please consider joining the effort to document our history. Volunteers can take on small projects, gathering information about detachment / regions / group, specific incidents, or collecting and documenting photos. As an "Archivist" you might also take on an entire detachment identifying MSGs, NCOICs/Detachment Commanders, RSO's, RMOs and reporting incidents. All information gathered is sent to a "PageMaster: who will edit and publish the information into the on-line archives. (Volunteers with IT, web page skills could be really useful here as well.)
